Rural Action's Sustainable Forestry Program

Rural Action takes a comprehensive, integrated approach to rural community development that creates economic opportunities, conserves and restores the environment, and strengthens communities.

Since 1997, our Forestry Program has been working with private landowners, government agencies, and other non-profit organizations, to implement sustainable forestry projects through innovative strategies that provide a transition toward sustainable utilization and marketing of forest resources. We work with landowners, entrepreneurs and partner with natural resources professionals and
business development specialists, to develop forest related products while implementing sustainable forestry practices.

"Working for healthy forests through innovative projects that generate income and encourage land stewardship."

As a non-profit organization, we are membership based and the support you provide is essential.
