For many landowners, restoring the land you have bought or inherited is a
primary goal. Often times, how to start this process isn’t clear. In this
section you will find links that discuss restoring your land, promoting
wildlife, dealing with invasive species and native plant propagation for
increased ecological diversity. There is also a link to sources that will
educate you on conservation easements, which may offer you a tax break for
restoring your land, and a link to our partner organization OPPC, a land
owner cooperative, putting you in touch with consulting foresters that
will help you appropriately manage your land to increase aesthetics,
value, and biological activity for many years to come If you would like to request additional information, or can’t find the answers to you questions, please contact our forestry team at (740) 767-4938 or foresty@ruralaction.org |
